Voobin is a platform for discovering and watching AI-generated films and series, publishing creative work, and connecting with creators and upcoming projects. This Privacy Policy explains how Voobin ("we," "us," or "our") handles personal information in connection with our website and services.
The information involved depends on how you use Voobin. Watching without an account, creating a profile, uploading a film, posting a comment, and supporting a project involve different kinds of information.

1. Information we collect
Account and profile information
When you register or manage an account, we collect information such as your email address, username, display name, authentication information, and email-verification status. You may also provide a profile image, biography, and other profile details.
If a third-party sign-in option is available and you choose to use it, we receive the information provided through that sign-in process, such as an account identifier, email address, or profile image. The information depends on the provider and the permissions involved.
Content you provide
We collect the content and related information you submit to Voobin. This can include:
- Films, episodes, trailers, posters, and other uploaded media.
- Titles, descriptions, credits, tags, language selections, genres, and content ratings.
- Comments, ratings, reports, and feedback.
- Project descriptions, funding goals, deadlines, and creator updates.
- Messages and attachments you send to support.
Uploaded content may include personal information about you or other people. Consider what information you include, and ensure you have any permissions required to submit it.
Viewing and interaction information
When you use Voobin, we collect information about your activity to operate the service and understand how it is used. Depending on your activity and the features involved, this may include:
- Films, episodes, projects, and profiles you visit.
- Video views, viewing progress, and playback sessions.
- Likes, ratings, comments, and series subscriptions.
- Search activity and interactions with available features.
- Notifications and whether they have been read.
Activity may be associated with your account when you are signed in. When you are signed out, some activity may be associated with a browser or session identifier. An identifier without your name is not necessarily anonymous.
Technical information
Our systems and service providers receive technical information when your browser connects to the service. This may include your IP address, browser and operating-system details, request timestamps, referring pages, error information, and security logs.

Contributions and transactions

Information entered into a payment provider's checkout or verification process is also handled under that provider's privacy notice. The information Voobin receives depends on the payment integration and transaction. Payment and payout functionality may vary during beta.

Public content and profiles
Information you publish publicly can be viewed by others. This may include your username, display name, profile image, biography, published films, project pages, and comments. Public pages may be indexed by search engines or shared outside Voobin.
Deleting content from Voobin may not remove copies independently saved by other people or cached by external services.
Service providers
We disclose information to providers that help operate the platform, to the extent needed for their services. Depending on the feature, these services may include hosting, storage, video delivery, email delivery, payment processing, technical support, security, analytics, or moderation.
Providers acting on our behalf are expected to process information for the agreed purposes and apply appropriate privacy and security protections. A provider offering its own independent service may also process information under its own privacy notice.
Creators and project administration
Where needed to administer a contribution or deliver a stated supporter benefit, relevant information may be disclosed to the project creator or the provider handling that benefit. The information involved depends on the project and the contribution flow.
Review the visibility and benefit information shown before contributing. Publishing or supporting a project does not, by itself, make your entire account or viewing history public.
At your direction
We may disclose information when you ask us to, authorize an integration, or give consent to a particular disclosure.
Legal requirements and safety
We may disclose information where legally required or permitted to respond to valid legal process, investigate misuse, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, or protect the rights and safety of users and others.
Business changes
If ownership or operation of Voobin changes through a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or asset transfer, information may be transferred as part of that process, subject to applicable privacy obligations and any required notice.
Statistics
We may disclose aggregate statistics, such as overall viewing totals or project performance. Where information is represented as anonymous, it must not reasonably identify an individual. Removing a name or replacing it with an identifier does not necessarily make information anonymous.

Managing your account and content
Use the controls available in your account or Studio to review and update profile information and manage your content. Where a desired control is unavailable, contact us to request assistance.
You can request access to your personal information, a copy of it, correction of inaccurate information, or deletion of your account and associated information through Contact Us.
Removing cookies from your browser does not delete your Voobin account or information already stored in our systems.
Notifications and marketing
Use available notification settings to manage optional updates. Where we send marketing emails, you can use the unsubscribe instructions in those messages. Necessary security, transaction, and account messages may still be sent.
Additional rights under applicable law
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to:
- Obtain information about the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information.
- Access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of certain information.
- Object to processing or request restrictions in specified circumstances.
- Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

These rights may have exceptions. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

We may need proportionate information to verify an access, correction, or deletion request or confirm an authorized representative's authority. Opt-out requests are handled according to the requirements applicable to them.
Do not send your password, verification codes, or full payment card details. We will handle requests within applicable legal time limits and explain any applicable limitation or refusal.

Voobin uses cookies and related technologies to support its services. These can help maintain sessions, remember preferences, and recognize a browser. Optional analytics or advertising technologies may be involved where those features are enabled.
You can manage cookies and site data through your browser and any privacy preference controls provided by Voobin. Blocking essential storage can affect sign-in or other features. Where consent is legally required for an optional technology, it must be obtained before that technology is used.

6. Retention and deletion
We keep personal information for the period needed for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to applicable legal requirements.
