Terms of Service

1. Acceptance and scope
These Terms of Service govern your use of voobin.com, www.voobin.com, and the related services offered through the platform, including video viewing, creator tools, community features, and the Creator Hub. In these Terms, "Voobin," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the platform provider, and "you" refers to the person using the service.
By using Voobin, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Read it alongside these Terms and our Cookie Policy. Acceptance of these Terms does not replace any separate privacy consent required by law.
Additional terms may apply to publishing, monetization, payments, or individual campaigns. We will make those terms available before you participate. Feature-specific terms govern their stated subject matter where they conflict with these general Terms, subject to applicable law.
2. Age requirements and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use Voobin. If local law requires a higher minimum age, that higher age applies.
If you are below the age of legal adulthood where you live, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the platform. Your parent or guardian must review these Terms with you and provide any consent required by law.
Creators uploading monetized content must be 18 or older and legally able to accept the applicable agreements. Funding, payment, and payout features may have additional eligibility or verification requirements disclosed before participation.
When you create an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate registration information and keep it reasonably current.
- Protect your password and verification codes.
- Use only an account you own or are authorized to manage.
- Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Avoid impersonating another person or misrepresenting your affiliation.
If you act for a business, production team, or rights holder, you confirm that you have authority to accept the relevant terms on their behalf.
3. Using the platform
You may use Voobin's available features to watch content, manage your account, interact with creators, and publish or support projects when eligible.
Watching a film does not give you permission to copy, reupload, sell, or independently distribute it. Use content only as permitted by its rights holder, an applicable license, the platform's features, or law.
Voobin's software, branding, interface, and other platform materials remain subject to their owners' intellectual property rights. These Terms do not transfer those rights to you.
You must respect age restrictions, access controls, and any territorial or other restrictions applicable to content. Availability may vary by project, account status, or location.
4. Creator content and ownership
You remain responsible for the films, episodes, trailers, artwork, descriptions, comments, and other materials you submit.
Creators retain 100% of the ownership and intellectual property rights they hold in their content. Uploading to Voobin does not transfer ownership to Voobin. Third-party rights remain with their respective owners, and these Terms do not create copyright protection where it does not exist under applicable law.
Publishing is non-exclusive unless you expressly accept a separate agreement providing otherwise.
For creator productions, the Creator Agreement defines Voobin's limited license to host, process, stream, display, and help users discover published content. Its ownership protections, license limits, and withdrawal provisions control over conflicting general wording here.
That license does not automatically authorize external promotional campaigns or generative AI training. Any additional use requiring separate permission under the Creator Agreement requires that permission.
For public community submissions such as comments and profile information, you give Voobin permission to store and display them in the features where you submit them, and to process them as needed for moderation and operation of those features. This permission does not transfer ownership.
5. Upload requirements and creator responsibilities
Voobin focuses on AI-generated narrative films, series, and episodic storytelling. Creator productions must meet the publishing requirements in the Creator Agreement.
You must have the rights necessary to submit and publish your content, including any required rights to music, images, footage, performances, characters, voices, and identifiable likenesses.
Using an AI tool does not remove your responsibility for third-party rights or compliance with the tool's terms. You must not misrepresent another person's involvement or use synthetic media to deceive people in ways that violate rights or cause harm.
Titles, descriptions, posters, trailers, genres, and other metadata must accurately represent the project. Apply required age ratings, content warnings, and synthetic-content disclosures.
Keep your own copies of uploaded materials. Voobin is a publishing service and should not be your only storage location.
6. Creator Hub, contributions, and monetization
Creator Hub projects may concern episodes that are still being developed. A trailer, preview, campaign page, or funding goal does not mean the finished episode is already available.
Contributions are governed by the project terms disclosed and accepted for that campaign. Before contributing, review the funding goal, deadline, project status, fees, stated benefits, and cancellation or refund conditions.
Revenue sharing, supporter licenses, paid access, and other financial benefits arise only under the applicable agreements. General platform access or viewing activity does not create an entitlement to earnings, repayment, ownership, or creative control.
Uploading content does not automatically enroll a creator in a monetization program. Program terms must explain eligibility, revenue calculations, deductions, fees, payout conditions, and other material terms before participation.
Creators must describe campaigns truthfully and perform the production, reporting, reward, or refund obligations they accept. They must communicate material delays or changes and must not divert contributions contrary to the accepted project terms.
Removing a campaign, withdrawing content, or closing an account does not automatically cancel existing contractual obligations or validly earned amounts. Those matters are resolved under the applicable agreements and law.
Neither a displayed funding goal nor a campaign forecast guarantees completion, a release date, profitability, or recovery of a contribution. Payment and monetization features may have limited availability during beta.
7. Payments, cancellations, and refunds
Where real-money features are enabled, use only the payment methods supported by the relevant feature. You must be authorized to use the payment method you provide.
Applicable prices, fees, taxes, and material payment conditions must be disclosed before you commit to a transaction. Payment providers may require acceptance of their own terms.
Refund and cancellation rights depend on the accepted campaign or purchase terms and applicable law. These Terms do not establish a universal refund period or override mandatory refund rights.
If you believe a transaction is incorrect or unauthorized, contact us promptly with the relevant project link and transaction details. Do not send full payment card numbers or security codes.
8. Prohibited conduct
You must not use Voobin to:
- Publish unlawful content or infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Exploit children or publish prohibited sexual or non-consensual intimate material.
- Threaten people, target them with harassment, or encourage violence against them.
- Impersonate others, run scams, or create fraudulent campaigns.
- Manipulate views, likes, ratings, contributions, or other platform metrics.
- Post spam, misleading links, malware, or malicious code.
- Obtain private account information without authorization.
- Bypass access restrictions, attack the service, or interfere with its operation.
- Evade a suspension or restriction by creating or using another account.
Fictional storytelling involving difficult or mature subjects remains subject to the Creator Agreement and applicable content restrictions. A fictional or AI-generated presentation does not excuse prohibited conduct.
9. Moderation, suspension, and termination
We may review reports and take action against content or accounts that violate these Terms, applicable feature terms, third-party rights, or law. Actions may include content removal, age restrictions, loss of publishing or funding access, temporary suspension, or account termination.
Fraudulent campaigns, serious rights violations, and conduct creating substantial safety or security risks may require immediate action.
Where reasonably practicable and legally appropriate, we will explain the action and provide a way to contact us about it. Notice may be limited where disclosure would compromise security, an investigation, another person's safety, or a legal obligation.
If you believe an action was mistaken, contact us with the relevant account or content details and your reasons for requesting a review.
You may stop using Voobin at any time and request account closure through available controls or by contacting us. Content removal, retained records, outstanding payments, and funded-project obligations remain subject to the applicable agreements and our Privacy Policy.
10. Availability and third-party services
Voobin may update features, perform maintenance, or change supported integrations. During beta, functionality may be incomplete, interruptions may occur, and beta data may be removed.
These changes do not cancel mandatory consumer rights or obligations already arising from an accepted paid agreement.
Links, embedded content, sign-in providers, and payment services may involve independent third parties. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply. Their inclusion does not guarantee their content, performance, or suitability.
11. Service limitations and legal rights
To the extent permitted by law, Voobin is provided as available. We do not promise uninterrupted access, universal device compatibility, a particular audience size, or a particular financial result.
Users and creators are responsible for their submissions and representations. Hosting content or displaying a campaign does not certify its accuracy, legal status, or future performance.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or removes a warranty, remedy, or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any limitation is subject to applicable law, including protections relating to fraud, deliberate wrongdoing, and other non-excludable liability.
12. Changes and disputes
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes to the platform, security needs, or legal requirements. The date at the top identifies the latest revision.
For material changes, we will provide notice and obtain agreement where required. Changes must not retroactively remove rights or payments already arising under accepted agreements except as law permits.
If you have a dispute, contact us with the relevant information so we can try to resolve it. This does not limit your ability to use a competent court or another remedy available under applicable law.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision immediately does not necessarily waive the right to enforce it later.
